Why Trade Trends, And Why Trade Trend Spider!

My name is Josh Mondragon, I have been trading for 5 years, and I mainly focus on the Forex market because there tends to be a lot more volatility in those markets. I will be blogging here on the new TrendSpider blog about once a week. I first came across TrendSpider as a customer and I was blown away by it. I was hooked right away. Today, I’m very excited to be able to contribute to the TrendSpider’s blog. My posts will contain a lot of video, and will focus on using TrendSpider, going over interesting charts I come across, and discussing my opinions on general state of the market.  This week I will be discussing why I trade trends, and why I use TrendSpider.

Trend lines (or simply ‘trends’ as we call them) have been around since the beginning of market time. For a long time, trends were the only technical analysis tool you had to really go off. Still today, trends can be found on every chart markup and almost everyone uses them get a sense for what direction the market is going.

TrendSpider has changed my trading in a number of ways. I love most is that I don’t have to spend more than 2 minutes on a Forex pair chart. I can look quickly and then go on to the next pair. I spend no more than 30 min a day to go through 15 pairs, and that puts TrendSpider way ahead of the game.

Another favorite feature of mine is multi-time frame analysis (MTFA). That means not having to jump from timeframe to timeframe. Trend spider allows you to look at multiple time frames quickly, and then the algorithm plots each trend in that time frame. In this video, I go over some of these features and tell you more about myself.

Keep an eye out for my next video post next week!

Hello! My name is Josh, I have been trading for 5 years, with the last 3 being in the Forex market. For the past year, I have strictly traded trends. TrendSpider has been a huge game changer for me. Not only am I more confident with my trading, but I now only have to spend half the time on the charts. Teaching people to trade has always been a passion of mine. Thank you for reading.
